God spoke the world and all creation into existence through words but He formed Adam from the dust of the earth and breathed into him the breath of life. We are made in the image of God. He has given us the ability to speak words to each other of our own free will. God is the creator of words and the ability to speak. Let’s go to the scripture first and find out some of the things that God says about words.[PROVERBS 18:21] Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. [1st PETER 3:10] For whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and their lips from a deceitful speech.

[PROVERBS 15:4] The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

[MATTHEW 15: 18,19,20] But those things which proceed from the mouth come out of the heart, and defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

[MATTHEW 12:36] I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.

[MATTHEW 12:37] For by your words you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned.

There is a lot more that God says about words. As you can see by these few scriptures that God takes our words very seriously so we should address them.

Words can set yours and my whole world on fire. or if we speak the words of love to people we can cause our lives to go a lot smoother. I am aware that this blog is being read by saved people who already know Jesus as savior and I am also aware that there are many searching unsaved people reading this blog and searching for God.

Words are a product of the heart. Jesus said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We can hide many things as humans in public but the hardest thing to hide is our words, they come out so fast and often without thought. If you will listen to your words and what you say to people and how you react to life’s stresses, you soon learn what is in your heart, whether blessing or cursing or life or death. For the unsaved, unrenewed person. good words are extremely hard because of the sinful condition of that person’s heart. nice words are often hypocritical or needed to be spoken in order to maintain a working relationship with co-workers or family members or the public in general. meanwhile, cursing a lot of people in our hearts or thinking negative thoughts about them or just judging somebody you just walked by because they didn’t say hi to you.

So our words and our actions and thought life don’t match up. We think one thing of a person but do another in order to hide our real inner heart. We don’t want people to see our bad side.

A saved person who knows and walks with God on the other hand has an alternative. Letting God Love them and let God deliver them of all the fallen sin nature that produces a foul cursing tongue. When the heart is changed by God in a person’s life, his or her words begin to change and gradually you will see words change into Godly words, then love will begin to manifest in that person because they have the love of the spirit of God in them now. Then life begins to get better and more blessed because that person is now speaking more and more the word of God that does not return void and the God watches over His word to perform it. When you let God love you, you then love yourself, and your whole attitude changes. When you rest secure in God’s arms even while you are still living on the earth yet, you will find rest.

CHANGE YOUR INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE AROUND YOU WILL CHANGE.

When we are born we have human parents that we hear speak and a child will repeat good or bad, what they hear from their father and mother. When a person receives Christ, We now have a God and father. We now have the heart of our Father in heaven and we then both desire and begin to speak His words that come out of our changed renewed spirit. People without Christ have no alternative to a renewed spirit or heart but are still stuck with the fallen nature they were born with and have to struggle to be kind, or love, or say kind words because the fallen heart inside the man or woman does not desire to do so. So these people have to do a lot of faking it. So the love that needs to be placed in our hearts in order to change our words can only be placed there by Jesus Christ when you make Him your Savior by your own free will.

What is in our hearts is what we will want to do. Since we are born in sin with the nature of satan because of the fall of man in the garden, our natural inclination is to do evil or to want to sin. But God in His mercy has deposited in us a conscience, which is the light of truth given to every man and woman when they are born in order to know right and wrong and good and evil. It is the witness of God in our hearts. It comes from the belly region that you can feel when something is right or wrong. It is God showing you. It is not your mind or aka soul, that convicts you of wrong or right. As you know after you have lived life a while you can know something is wrong in your conscience and still reason it out with your mind and then go against what your conscience is showing you. usually, we wind up regretting our choice with reasoning.

Once you are saved with a new desire for the things of God, then it is up to the new believer to renew his or her mind with the word of God so that the new Holy spirit in you along with your new life will match up with what you are learning from God. The mind and the heart both renewed in God are a formidable power. The conversion of the heart is up to God when you agree to make Jesus your Lord.

The renewing of the mind is up to the person who is saved. When I got saved in 1985, before that I had no desire for the bible or the things of God. But when I accepted Christ in the summer of 1985, I got an incredible hunger for the word of God. I would come home from work and go outside in a lawn chair and spend hours in the bible. The pages became alive and I was astonished at the wisdom that was in there. It was the conversion of my heart by Jesus when He entered me that set me on fire for God. But it was up to me to read His word and listen to teachings. He would then at various times drop understanding in my heart about what He wanted me to know. I had to do my part. My soul needed renewal, a reprogramming about how God thinks. I already knew how the world thinks and it was depressing.

As your mind is renewed in the things of God your words change, The fruit of the spirit begins to develop. Love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, longsuffering. These things both change your actions and your words. It takes time.

here are some scriptures to prove my point.

{ROMANS 12:1,2] I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is your reasonable service. 2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

[1st THESSALONIANS 5:23] Now mat the God of peace sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[EPHESIANS 4:23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

When a person goes to college or a trade school for a career, It starts with hopefully a heart’s desire. He or she wants to be a nurse, a pilot, an accountant a welder, a manager, etc.. They go to the schools to learn the trade. They renew their minds with the knowledge and terminology of that particular trade. They learn to speak the language. Then they graduate and get hired somewhere and learn to put what they have learned to practical use and then begin to get wisdom and understanding as they apply what they have learned to a job. Now you are profitable to a company because of what you have taken the time to learn and apply. Your reward is a good paycheck. The language of this person gradually changes because they have gotten an understanding they have never had before. If the person only kept it at the heart’s desire level and never went further, nothing would have happened in their life.

Same thing in a deeper way with God and salvation. I get saved and now the desire to know God is on fire in me. So it is up to me to read His word and learn about Him and then watch Him interact with me as I am making an effort to know Him by pursuing Him and His word. The desire comes from Him after you have accepted Christ. God wants fellowship with us. He wants to talk to us and us to Him. He wants us to know His love. We must learn to speak His language. This changes our words, from cursing to blessing.

We are made of spirit, soul, and body. The body operates in the physical world. smell, taste, hear, feel and touch. The mind retains what it is given. It is a reasoning computer that collects and retains life’s experiences. It reasons and calculates and remembers, and is also susceptible to demonic thought coming from the outside and trying to work its way in as a stronghold. Constantly battling the conscience to do what we know we shouldn’t do. If the mind is full of evil thoughts-the body is more than willing to carry them out. The evil mind and flesh desires can then silence the conscience to the point where you don’t hear it hardly ever. When I got saved my conscience came alive. The sin I used to enjoy I now began to hate. I know I am only just touching on this, there is far more to it than even this.

Let’s get to the spirit part of us. When we speak to people or even ourselves, we speak either blessing or cursing. Anybody past the age of 1 year old knows that words can hurt and kill the spirit or build up and encourage another person’s spirit. Words can hurt without anyone laying a finger on us. Our body didn’t feel anything but our heart did. Human relationships are built mostly on words. Think about it. How much do you touch anybody at work or at home or in public? Probably very little, a handshake or a pat on the shoulder or a hug, etc… But most of it is based on our words. We speak spirit to spirit through our words. We let someone in or influence us by what we listen to them say to us. Social media is mostly based on words, not touch. Words are powerful. We decide who we are going to listen to. We generally close our hearts like a big iron door to an evil-mean speaking person who can hurt us with their words if we listen to them. We do this for survival.

A good word can build up and encourage a person and make them feel good. But it’s only just words, isn’t it? Words can start wars, influence a nation, or make good friends. They can be the instrument to build a city through the communication of contractors. Words are how we let other people know what we’re going to do and show them who we are. Words bear the fruit of who we are. Remember Jesus said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So our words and actions show people who and what we are. This is called bearing fruit. Our words and deeds bear the fruit of who we really are.

There have been multiple studies done on the effect of word by colleges under controlled conditions. Schools have done it. People have tried these experiments at home. You can find these videos on YouTube. Lookup [The impossible rice experiment.] or look up [Words affect plants on Youtube]. Word search the title, [THE POWER OF WORDS] on Youtube.

You will see experiments like taking 3 equal healthy size plants and taking # 1 Plant, speaking love words and encouraging words and uplifting words to it. Then taking #2 Plant and continually cursing it, telling it I hate you and calling it names etc…. #3 Plant then gets ignored and is left to be natural on its own.

The results are astounding. #2 plant begins to wither and die from the cursing when it should have stayed alive. #1 Plant gets fuller and stronger and looks great and developed. # 3 Just sits there and shows no real progress but withers somewhat.

They do it with jars of rice, containers of water, pieces of apple, all separated and then spoken to individually in this way and the results are obvious. The cursed object rots and deteriorates quickly. The point is that our words carrier power. We can speak cursing or blessing to ourselves and to others. How many times do you hear about bullying and what it does to a person? Some can get to the place of suicide. They can be physically touched very little but spoken to relentlessly negative words that get into their heart and affects them physically. Is it a wonder that God will judge every idol word. Our words can be weapons used to injure people. Our hearts were designed to receive love. Love is how life flourishes. Negative cursing kills life.

The more you speak of a thing, the more you want of it! If you curse people and hate, and are bitter and looking for others’ faults, You will give it words’ and therefore you will get more of it in your life. You are giving it life by speaking it into existence. It will affect you. Unforgiveness torments and affects the person who won’t forgive more than that person they refuse to forgive. A lot of times the person you refuse to forgive is not even aware of it. So who really is tormented and has no peace?

[JOHN 6:63] Jesus said “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life. We are made in the image of God. Our words do things.

[JAMES 3:5,12]” Even so the tongue is a little member that boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles.! the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil full of deadly poison. With it, we bless our God and Father, and with it, we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.”

“Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren these things ought not to be so. Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree my brethren bear olives or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields salt water and fresh.”[End scripture]

Beware, parents, what you say to your kids. I have heard parents joke about selling their kids, killing them as a joke, or being so mad that they say such a thing to them out of anger. Renting them out or just cutting them down all the time is a normal way to raise the kid. Discouraging and condemning the kid into submission. You are the parents that God has ordained to raise that kid. The child wants your approval also. One encouraging word can go a long way with a kid. Remember, what you are saying to the child is going directly into their heart. If you abuse the kid long enough with your words, you will lose the kid’s heart to not listen to you. They will harden their heart to you and rebel. You can talk all you want and all they will want to do get away from you. Kids are being built into adulthood. They feel the same things as adults. They have a conscience, a heart, a mind. Their troubles are big to them when they come to you with a problem.

Little mike walks up to you crying because his brother hit him. It is a big deal to him. Don’t just send him away with unresolved issues. His heart will get harder. To adults, it’s no big deal so we brush it off, but if we do that enough times, little mike will take matters into his own hands. This issue would be handled by words. Be careful what you say. You only have kids for a short time. If you are unable to speak good words because of your own passed, Then give your life to Christ and let Him be your savior so that the love of God can enter you and heal you yourself of the past so that your words will also change into words of life and not death.

I know because I came out of this life myself with an abusive dad. beatings all the way up to when I was going to junior high. Absolute horrible things coming out of his mouth of abuse all the way through school. For years I could not socialize with kids in school because I locked myself in a shell. I was the product of what I was told by the authority figure in my life. I started breaking free in junior high. Getting into some fights etc.. Rebellion is how I saw I could get free. No one could tell me anything.

The words I listened to almost killed me in depression and discouragement because there were no alternate words being spoken to me anywhere. As you can imagine, my words were very destructive also by now. I had a lot of hate and bitterness that manifested with the things I said to people.

Then Jesus came to me. I was saved in 1985. One year before that, God started drawing me to Him supernaturally. I was in nightclubs and an alcoholic. I was a nightclub DJ living the wildlife. I was rotten to the core. But in 1984 God started pulling me in. I started thinking about God a lot and thinking about Him in general. I wasn’t doing anything personally for this to happen. I would all of a sudden listen to a Christian radio station I came across and I had never wanted to do that before. Something was changing in me. I became bothered by me living with my girlfriend that I was not married to. This never bothered me before. I was starting not to like the things I was doing my life. But in the summer of 1985, I got a visit from the Holy Spirit in my house. There was a tv preacher on tv telling people how to get saved and receive Jesus Christ. God had been getting me ready for a whole year. When I heard the word that the preacher was saying, quoting [ROMANS 10:9,10]. Well, the light when on for me. It was my time. I understood how to be saved so I knelt down in my living room and asked Jesus into my heart.

I was filled with the Holy Spirit and saved in my living room. It was great. I was excited. I was right with God by receiving Jesus. Now all the damage done to me and all the damage I inflicted on myself and others was instantly forgiven. Now my life began to go the other way. It started to be healed of the past, my mind was getting renewed in the word of God. I found out that God loved me and cared about Me and wanted fellowship with me. He gave me value I never had before. He started reversing all the negativity and worthlessness that the world had convinced me of.

The words of God were now being spoken over me instead of the dead world. It started healing me of the past. As a result, my words changed towards people. I started loving them and forgiving them and not judging them because of God’s forgiveness for me. He then gave love for people that I did not have or could have had. This changed the words that were coming out of my mouth towards the public, my co-workers, my kids, my wife.

[MATTHEW 12:33,37]” Either make the tree good and its fruit good or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers, how can you being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.”

But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give an account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned.”

Jesus and John the baptist also compare us humans to trees. Those of us that are not saved and have not made Jesus Lord yet are the bad trees with no good fruit. Those who have made Jesus Lord and accepted His Holy Spirit are the good trees now able to begin to produce good fruit through both our words and deeds because now we have a new heart and the power of the Holy Spirit in us to produce real fruit that is acceptable to God.

[JOHN7:38,39] He who believes in Me as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive, for the Holy Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. [End Scripture.]

The Holy Spirit that you will receive when you get saved will produce the good fruit.

Thank you for reading the Blog. I hope it helps you. This is what God has given me to write in this segment.

Remember that God deeply loves you and longs to pardon all your sin and have a relationship with you. He takes no pleasure at all in anyone’s unsaved death.

PS

I was at work one night and sitting down waiting on the machines. Suddenly I was in an open vision.

I saw a vision of Jesus standing in front of a two tear file cabinet. He took His right foot and kicked the side of it and it hit the ground hard. He was furious. I could feel his heart in this matter. He said to me, I HATE THE RECORDS THAT PEOPLE KEEP OF EACH OTHER!!!

End of vision.

After reading this blog you should be able to understand this vision.
