If you look at creation and the world around us, you see trees, plants, animals, fish, and grass, all of which add to the beauty of the world. They all need the earth to survive for food and shelter but they all manifest what they are and what they were created to be. You do not see an animal going around collecting fur to put on, or a tree collecting bark to attach to itself. They all grow from within.
All of these mentioned get their glory and beauty from the inside out, starting with a small seed. In other words, these living things show the world what is inside of them and then manifest it to the world. They did not get their glory from the outside somewhere. nothing from the outside walked up to them and added to them. They became what God designed them to be in the very seed that they started from. God Himself gave these things everything they needed to be what He created them to be.
This is a huge secret of the kingdom of God. [Luke 17: 20,21} Jesus said the kingdom of God does not come with observation, nor will they say, see; here or see there! For indeed the kingdom of God is within you. [end scripture]. The Holy Spirit you receive comes in like a seed that has everything in it that you need from God and through your growth and obedience and walking with Jesus, it will grow and develop your character and erase the desire for sin, making you a clean vessel that God can have a relationship with. The kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit working in your heart, the reborn person. The kingdom of heaven is Heaven itself where God resides. The kingdom of God must be in you first by believing in Jesus before you can occupy the Kingdom of heaven and your inheritance.
God blesses and builds us from the inside out, not the outside in. Let God change your inside, your heart, and your spirit, giving you back the Holy Spirit again and you will begin to see life around you change.
Mankind is the only created being not living up to what we are supposed to be. We are corrupted by the fall in the Garden of Eden. We lost eternal life, we lost God’s provision without toil, and we lost favor with God and fellowship with Him. We became spiritually dead which means that the Holy Spirit which lives in God and also was living in us had to leave us. We were no longer spiritually connected to God.
The whole world before the fall of man was supposed to prosper and grow and multiply and live eternally. death was not supposed to happen. Mans’s uncorrupted seed changed to a corrupt seed. Our hearts became like Satan whom we listened to in the garden instead of obeying God. Satan then became the God of this world along with his nature which we see see in all mankind today.
Genesis {1:27,31} So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
And God said, see I given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth and every tree whose fruit yields seed. To you, it shall be for food. Also to every beast of the earth and every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
So as you can see our beginning as mankind was very very good. We were created to fellowship with God, not worry about food clothing, and all the worries of life. God had taken care of all of that. God wanted a loving relationship and intimacy with us! Not chasing around the world worrying about where our next meal was coming from and all the stuff man has to be concerned with today. originally it was all given to us by God.
When mankind lost connection with God, Adam and Eve sowed fig leaves to cover their nakedness. From that time on mankind now had to gather things from the earth for security, survival, meaning in life, and hope of happiness. Without the favor of God, man now turned to the favor of men. looking for glory, meaning, and acceptance. conquering. Drawing on the security that the world could provide by getting and keeping and storing up motivated by fear of dying. Man’s heart without God in it, has a void of insecurity that only can be filled by God and His Holy Spirit and because of that void that leaves us feeling like orphans with no one to care for us, we look to gathering in the world as much as we can for our security.
Satan is disconnected from God. He does not have the Holy Spirit. He brought sin into the world after he rebelled against God and As Adam and Eve cooperated and listened to him, we followed in his footsteps and lost the Holy Spirit also along with all His provision and blessing. Death then came into the earth. Whatever is disconnected from God dies. Anything that is dead and useless goes into the burn pile.
Mankind is not good but evil. We are not good people just doing bad things every once and a while but we are evil people trying to do good the best we can. We manifest what we are to the world by showing our fruit through our words, actions, and attitudes. A tree is known by its fruit and it is not the fruit’s fault of what kind it is or if it is edible or poisonous but all the the fruit is doing is showing what kind of tree it is attached to. It shows us what is inside of this tree whether it is good or bad.
Sin makes bad fruit!!! Sin is disconnected from God. It is a slow poison to a person that slowly destroys the life of that person and will ultimately be cast into the fire unless a change is made. Jesus came to give you that chance to come back to the Father and Him. But first, let’s look at what Jesus says about this.
{Matthew 7:15,24} Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits, you will know them.
[ Matthew 7:21,23] Not everyone who says to me, Lord-Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven. Many will say unto Me that day, Lord-Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and done many wonders in your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from Me you who practice lawlessness.
These people Jesus was addressing were about works. They exercised the gifts but did not repent of sin or confess it. They apparently were not repenting of sin but retaining it. Trusting in their works to save them. Judas did this also. He was sent out with the twelve to cast out demons and heal the sick but in the end, he retained a sin he loved more than Jesus and wouldn’t confess it to Jesus and repent even though Jesus knew he was stealing. Jesus waits for us to confess our own sin as He convicts us of it.
In my own personal life with Jesus, I tell Him everything and daily confess the sins and shortcomings that I am aware of that were not pleasing to Him. He always forgives me and there is no division between Him and me.
{Matthew 15:11} Hear and understand it is not what goes into a mouth that defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.
So we can sin with our words not just our actions. defile here means to sin. sinning with our mouth which is then the bad fruit we are manifesting. We are showing what is in our hearts. When we swear, hate, gossip, slander, judge etc… these things show what is inside our hearts.
{Matthew 17:17,20} Do you not yet understand that what goes into a mouth enters the stomach and is eliminated, but those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart and defile a man? For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.
By now you might be thinking who then can be saved if we even sin with our mouth? Receiving Jesus the sent savior to take your life and renew it from the inside. Start over with a new life, a new seed. Get the Holy Spirit back and be who you were created to be. We cannot undo what Adam and Eve did but God had a plan that whoever would receive His son whom He sent and His blood sacrifice, can have the Holy Spirit back again and be reconnected with the Father as in the beginning. And as you obey Jesus in you He will get you ready to meet the Father in Heaven and have eternal life. Free will is the gift that God has given mankind and now the offer of salvation and having God back in your life has gone out to the world and only those who accept the offer and yield to Jesus and let Him enter your heart and give you a new heart will enter into the kingdom.
{John 3:1,21} There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do the signs that you do unless God is with Him. Jesus answered and said to him, most assuredly I say to you unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus said to Him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born? Jesus answered, most assuredly I say to you unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you that you must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from or where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the spirit. Nicodemus answered and said to Him, how can these things be? Jesus answered and said to him, are you a teacher of Israel and do not know these things?
Most assuredly I say to you that we speak of what we know and testify to what we have seen, and you do not receive our witness. If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, How will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is the Son of man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted the serpant in the wilderness even so must the Son of man be lifted up that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED, BUT HE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HAS NOT BELIEVED IN THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
And this is the condemnation that light has come into the world and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light that his deeds may be clearly seen that they have been done in God. [end scripture.]
So in this world, we deal with external matters including looking good in front of everyone else and making sure our vulnerabilities and our dark deeds are never seen by the world. This is the same kind of covering that Adam And Eve did when they sowed fig leaves together to cover their shame. When Jesus said that men love darkness rather than light and won’t come to the light because their deeds will be exposed. Light is the truth!!! The word of God is light and exposes the darkness so that we can see it and let God change us. The truth in the world can be called light to a degree because truth exposes evil deeds.
If you witnessed a robbery in a store and saw the thief close up and the police arrested him or her and the police asked for witnesses, the thief would lie to get out of trouble but the witness would tell the truth and say, I saw this person pull a gun and rob the store. This would be shedding light on the crime and make what was not detectable,,, detectable. This person would then be a witness to shed light on the crime by telling the truth. TRUTH IS LIGHT.
Jesus is making the will of God for us, detectable and shedding light on our understanding. He sent the Holy Spirit into the earth for that very thing. To enter into anyone’s heart who received Jesus as savior and immediately save them and wash away all sin from your past you and I can start over again with a clean slate and have the spirit restored to us so we can take on Jesus’s righteous nature and watch our lives begin to change from the inside out. This is when you will see prayers answered and questions answered and see God move on your behalf in this world.
When Jesus said,I have overcome the world and the devil. It may not seem like it by what we see in the world but Jesus took back the world for the Father and He will rule forever with us His saints. For the unbeliever who doesn’t want Christ, the devil is not overcome in your life because you do not have Jesus in you that is what devils fear.
In order to change your life you must take a new road that most of the world doesn’t want to travel on. New destination, new road, new kingdom, new life. Salvation does not come from following the old beaten paths of this world the old systems and the old ways of doing things. You must be purposeful on the day of your visitation when the revelation comes to you that you need Jesus Christ, accept Him right away. This happened to me in my living room in 1985. I heard Salvation preached on TV and I got it and knelt down in my living room and asked Jesus into my heart and the Holy Spirit came in and I felt His power in my chest and I got a new heart. I was so excited.
Do you live by morals alone? Morals will not get you into heaven. Church will not get you into heaven. Just reading your bible will not get you into heaven. WHY? Because the word of God must be acted upon by faith and a receiving of God’s gift Jesus must take place. You must be converted, Born Again, and given a new heart that is reconnected to God through His Holy Spirit. When you live by morals alone and religion and just hearing the gospel and then not acting on it you are a righteousness unto yourself. You can think you’re pleasing to God when you’re not by just living the best you can.
In this condition your sinful nature is not destroyed yet, Jesus’ blood is not applied to you to the satisfaction of the Father, and your spirit is not made one with Jesus because you have not yet received the Holy Spirit by accepting salvation. You are still a person of this world and the world system. You need the Holy Spirit in you in order to have communication with God and fellowship.
{Acts 2:38,39} Peter the Apostle said, Then Peter said to them, repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and your children and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord will call.
People are banged up hurting used and abused. God did not do any of these things to you. Everyone is damaged in some way. God is in the restoration of people for His kingdom. God is filling His kingdom right now with as many as will come to Him and want a relationship with Him. People say My life is a wreck, why did God do this to me or why won’t He help me? or why did God let this happen to me?
God doesn’t destroy people’s lives He restores them. You have your own flesh-evil desires to blame, you have devils on the loose in the world that afflict your body and cause disasters and pump lies into your head so you will believe lies where you will call evil good and good evil. your own refusal and resistance to Christ not receiving Him and even mocking Him bring more affliction into your life because as you do that. The devils have more legal rights to afflict you.
God must work from a legal standpoint If you belong to Him You can pray and petition Him and He will hear you and help you because you have the Spirit of God in you through His Son Jesus. You are a resident of the Kingdom of God. Jesus ministers to everyone but those who listen get the blessing because they received Him. Jesus is Savior and King to those who want Him to be their savior and King.
There is a story of a couple that went to a 3rd world country to go to an orphanage to adopt a child. They found a child that they just loved and wanted to adopt him or her. The child was excited but the laws prohibited the couple from taking the child for 6 months before the child could leave the country. So they went home and sent a photo album to the child of the new life he was going to have. The child was excited and showed his friends the new life he was going to have. But what if that child had refused to go with this couple to this new life and said no? They wouldn’t have made the child do it.
Many do this with God. God offers Himself to us and salvation and a blessed life. His future for you and destiny and making you and me His adopted sons and daughters into His kingdom.
Satan wanted to be his own God and so do his children who follow him. Satan cannot be saved and will not be saved. His part is in the depths of the lake of fire and those who follow him. In short, if you want to be your own God in this life you can but you have a short time to live and life will get worse and worse. God will not stop you but He will keep waiting for you to see it before it’s too late and repent and ask Him for salvation through Jesus.
John Wayne’s daughter testified that even in his last days on his sick bed, John heard the salvation message on TV, got out of bed and knelt, and asked Christ into His life. I saw it on YouTube. He was very independent.
[John 17:1,3] Jesus spoke these words and lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify you Son that your Son mat Glorify You, And as you have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as you have given Him. And this is the eternal life, that they may know You the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
[Revelation 21:6,8] And He said to me, it is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son. But the cowardly and the unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.
To you who have been abused in some way in your life. God can and will restore you and make you whole. He delivers from the pain of the past and fills it with Himself. I was abused and when I came to Jesus He started dealing with all my pain. I would confess it to Him and forgive the abuser and hand the pain to the Lord. He started me in the process of healing and forgiving and restored me and delivering me. Just a distant memory now. Do not run from God, run to Him.
God waits for you to call on Him. He loves you dearly. exchange your broken life for a new life by asking Jesus into your heart. Connect with God again Tell Him everything that bothers you. He knows it anyway. Remember we are dealing with the inside of you where Jesus starts with a life. Your renewed heart and a renewed soul. Get these things on the right track with God and the rest of your life around you will change with Him working with you. your problems are not as much on the outside as you think. most of them are on the inside and how you handle life, how you see life, and how you react to life.
God believes in you and sees you as a success because with Him living in you you cannot and will not fail. He has all the power you need and wisdom for your life if you will believe.
