There was a king that was a righteous man who ruled his kingdom well. He had all the people a king needs. Guards, servants, advisors, king’s personal cook, etc..

The king liked to get outside a lot to take walks. So he would go to the public park with 5 armed guards around him at all times. The king loved donuts. He would have his baker daily make a batch for him and he would eat them as he would take his walks.

One day as he was at the park, there was a very poor man laying on the park bench with tattered clothes and starving. This was the first time that the king ever saw him. So the king having compassion for him, gave him one of his donuts and moved on. The poor man was at the park every day.

So the king being a humble man gave 25 gold coins to his baker. He said to him, “take 5 gold coins each day and bake all 5 into one donut so they are hidden inside the donut. The baker didn’t understand but did as he was told. So as the king took his daily walks through the park, there was the poor man on the bench. As the king walked by he handed the poor man the donut with the gold coins and would continue to walk on. His guards around him had no idea what he was doing.

The next day the poor man was at the park bench again and he had nice clothes on and looked better. The king handed him the donut with the gold coins in it again and then walked on, only greeting him and walking away. This went on for 5 days because the amount the king wanted to give him was 25 gold coins. Each day the man looked better and better and was cleaned up. 25 gold coins was a small fortune.

So on the sixth day when there were no more coins, the king walked by the man on the bench and he greeted him and kept walking on without giving the man a donut. As the king got a short distance away, the man on the bench yelled to the king, “HEY, WHERES MY DONUT?”

God is love! everything He made was made by love. Anything that is not love destroys. This poor man never thanked the king or even said good morning to him. He was totally ungrateful, only expecting more and more without giving anything back to the king. Not having to earn it.

What could the poor man who was now rich have done for the king? Answer- Be grateful that the king saved his life. Love the king. Tell the story to others to glorify the king and lift him up because of his great mercy. Become the king’s friend and not one of his enemies.

When God puts us on the earth, We are endowed by God with gifts and talents. Some have 1 or 2, while others can have 10. He gives them to each person as He wills. He gives us a body to work with, gives us air, food a beautiful planet marred by sin though. intelligence, families, And most of all He gives us free of charge-SALVATION THROUGH JESUS. This is the love of God. He has done everything He could possibly do to bring us back to Him.

The original sin in the garden of Eden was not God’s fault. He gave mankind a fantastic Earth to go and subdue and rule over. It is not God’s fault that Lucifer, Satan rebelled against God in heaven after all God had made him to be with all his beauty and talent. But Lucifer himself gave birth to sin and separated himself from God and wanted to go on his own and take for himself everything that God gave him. God had everything perfect in heaven.

UNGREATFULULLNESS! Satan then stole the earth from mankind and became ruler over it and caused mankind to do what he did. BREAK OFF FROM BEING ONE WITH GOD AND BRING A CURSE ON US AND THE WHOLE EARTH.

Now man is in the same situation. We are given all these gifts and talents and the earth to live on, air to breathe, families, hobbies, friends, pleasures’ and so on. And to mention that God gives us all, life. Every hair of our head is numbered. Think how much love God has for you that he continues to let people live who hate Him, All the time He offers Jesus His Son to us for salvation. You and I are alive today because God wills that we stay alive. At any time He could end it and call in your account to Him.

Just like the poor man who lived because of the king’s compassion for him, and the man did not recognize it or was grateful, So is mankind toward God. God has given us each a portion in life and then says, GO USE IT AND MAKE IT PROSPER AND BRING ME GAIN WITH IT BY SERVING HUMANITY WITH IT.

But here is the problem; man takes what God has given and only serves himself with the sin nature we have. This is what satan did in heaven. He said I want to be glorified with my beauty and gifts and talents that God has given me. I will not glorify God with them. It’s all about me!!!

So man is cursed with the same thing. We demand more and more from God while we have abused what we already have and have not thanked Him or Glorified Him for what He has already done. If you kids kept saying to you give me this, and give me that all the time and never thanked you and just ran off with it only to come back later and demand more, would you continue to keep giving when you got no respect, or gratefulness, or love or even a kind word NO.

The prodigal son saw after a time what he had done to his father by demanding his inheritance now and running off to a distant land and partying. He hurt his father’s heart. By doing that he was saying that I can’t wait until you die to get my inheritance, I want it now. Notice that the father always loved him. The Son when he came to himself and saw what he had done to his father, had a Father still waiting for him with love in his heart and a longing to get his son back. So the son always had a father to come back to because the father did not change his love for his son. The son would have only been in poverty and destitution if the father would have disowned and hated His son.

THE SON FINALLY HAD GRATEFULNESS TOWARD HIS FATHER.

Yours and my gratefulness toward the Father is to receive His Son Jesus so that He can shower down blessings on you from heaven. He wants to do far more for us than we are walking in right now. He can add to us gifts and talents as we begin to use what we have for his glory and gratefulness for all He has given us. We have free will just like the prodigal son did. By his own free will, he went back to his father and now had a heart-to-heart relationship[ with His father instead of just a biological one with no heart in it.

But notice that the father stayed where he was and it was the son who had to return to him. God waits for you to make your decision. It is not His will that anybody goes to hell. Hell was made for satan and his following angels.DEMONS.

But if you decide of your own free will to love the world and yourself and practice the world’s sin that satan himself brought into the world then your fate is the same as his.

God himself will cry with a broken heart because he never stops loving you but cannot pass your free will. Remember the son had to return to the father of his own free will. The son was saved and entered into the blessings of all that his father had.

God wants to do the same for all of us but we must call out to Him. Repent and see we have sinned and we have been ungrateful for all that He has given us already. We can fellowship with Him again and talk to Him, love Him, and be grateful. He wants to restore a relationship with Him and you.

Do not be afraid of Him because His love for you never stops. He always gives you something to come home to. Ask Jesus in your heart today and believe Him and then start reading your bible and ask God to reveal Himself to you.

HE WILL MEET YOU AS YOU INVITE HIM IN.

Pay attention to dreams and signs that He will give you when He is trying to get your attention. Listen to your gut, your spirit man, the heart. don’t trust your doubting mind.

GOD LOVES YOU AND IS FOR YOU.
