About 5 months ago on a Sunday morning, God spoke to me about the coming separation of good and evil. The separation of those who will follow Jesus and those who won’t. The separation of those who think that they are smarter than God and those who don’t. The separation of those who walk in pride and become their own little god and those who put down pride and know that they need a savior. The separation of those who will not come to the reality of their own depravity and stubbornness and those who humble themselves before God and just come to Him just as you are. Separation of those who want to blaze the trail of their own destiny only to lose everything when they die and not have anything to present to Jesus when you come back to Him for judgment. Separation of those who want nothing to do with God as opposed to those of us who do and want what God has written about him or her in the books in heaven that has our God-given destiny written in it. Each of us has a destiny that God will help us fulfill if we will turn our life over to Him. Do not look at your circumstances or ability. Where you come up short, Jesus comes in and fills the gap.
When life is mundane and dull and dry and hopeless, we turn to entertainment and vices to help us forget our miseries and distract us from our empty lives. Whereas if you would turn your life over to Jesus, He has a path for you to walk of peace, destiny joy, hope, accomplishing impossible things because He is there to help you. Jesus knows what He wrote about you for your destiny on the Earth and He is the one who can show it to you and help you walk in it. For His glory and for your benefit and pleasure in this life and eternal life to come. God wants a relationship with you through His Son Jesus and if He cant have one because you don’t want Him in your life then you are useless to God even though He loves you dearly. He cannot then forgive your sins to make you clean before Him because you never came to Jesus and gave your life to Him in order to be covered by His blood before God. Since God cannot dwell with sin He has no choice but to put that person in hell even though it hurts Him to the core of His heart. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. He would rather have all men repent of their own free will and come to Him. He loves you and has made the sacrifice for you of His only Son. Now the gates of the Kingdom are open to you and whoever will come to him. Dont be afraid of Him just come as you are no matter how terrible your past was.
When we do our own thing it is like a desert. dry and dull and life less. Jesus path for you has life and hope in it.
Anyone who goes to hell is self-condemned. God is fair. Salvation is a free gift. We don’t have to work for it. I have heard people say, “what about Indians and people who never heard the word of God who is isolated from the mainstream of society?” What did Jesus say? [Mark 16:15,16] And He said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
God is able to give dreams and visions and Angel visitations to people who don”t have access to the word of God. He does this with me even when I have access to the word of God. We are not aware of what God does with people who are isolated from the mainstream of society. The bible says, [ROMANS 1:20] “For, since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” [NKJ] version. There is also a witness that we are born with that God has left us called a conscience. It is a witness that there is a righteousness to be attained put there by God.
I have heard more than one story about an Isis fighter in a command that Got a dream, a visitation from Jesus at night and was saved. Now this man is able to spread the news of his visitation to other Muslims so they can get saved.
The story of the prodigal son will bring this segment home.
[LUKE 15:11,32] NKJ version.
Then He said Jesus]: “A certain man had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. So He divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country and wasted all his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all there arose a severe famine in the land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would have gladly filled hid stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
But when he came to himself, he said, ” How many of my fathers hired servants have bread enough and to spare and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, And I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and he ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
And the son said to him, Father I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son. “But the Father said to the servants, “Bring out the best robe and put it on him and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this son was dead and was alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to make merry.
Now his older brother was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has filled the fatted calf. But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, Lo these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed you commandment at any time: and yet you never gave me a young goat that I may make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him. And he said to him , “Son you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found. END BIBLE VERSES.
So here we go! the Father in this parable is a representation of God and his heart toward mankind that he has made. First thing is, notice that the father loved both sons. The older brother who was mad at his father for forgiving the younger son had no regard or mercy for his younger brother when he came back, but even might had hated him for coming back. We judge each other a lot and the father wants to give mercy to all. Anyone who is a parent loves all their kids, not just a select few. We as God”s created human beings made in the image of God see each other in a different way than the Father sees us. We all came from Him and are created by Him but we as His people are in the same boat. How many times do you see siblings fight and go to the parents and yell that their brother or sister is getting away with something but you don’t let me get away with anything.
The father showed mercy to his younger son because the younger son repented. He came to himself and realized what he did to his father and how he must have hurt him. The empty foolishness of his lifestyle and how the world’s pleasures are a smokescreen leaves us empty in the end. This young son now had a relationship with his father! They were now heart to heart and not just the father loving the son, but the son loving or caring about the father. When his father met him, he didn’t send him to the servant’s quarters, or say to him, go work in the field. but brought him straight into the house as a son. servants are not brought into the house. This was God bringing the son into the kingdom of God then into heaven itself where God’s home is.
This father now had a new son that the relationship will be closer and better than ever before. Now the father would be able to trust his younger son with all his possessions. The son will always put his father first now because his pride was broken and he saw the love that his father had for him for the first time. This son will never use his father again for what he can get out of him. This is Jesus heart towards His Father God and this is the heart that He will give us toward the Father when we give our life to Him and are born again and given a new spirit [aka] heart.
God is looking for this kind of repentance and he will welcome you with open arms.
Now the olderson!
Notice that the father gave a portion of the inheritance to both of the sons. One left and partied with it and the other stayed and worked the ranch of his father and didn’t go anywhere. This older son didn’t have a great relationship with his father. he stayed working the fields in hopes of one day inheriting the Ranch of his father by working for it and so he would be the heir in the will when the father dies. So he was waiting for what he could get from his father and in self-righteousness, working for it and believed that he had earned it and deserved it. It had nothing to do with the relationship with his father. After all, he deserved it, he was working for it. This son was a hypocrite! pretending to be loyal but had an alternative motive in mind, whereas the younger son showed what he was all about and took off to a far country. The younger son didn’t lie about his motives.
The older son basically smarted off to his father when he confronted him about why he gave the fatted calf for his brother’s return. He accused him of doing wrong, coming from his own hypocrisy of wanting the inheritance for himself. In this culture, the firstborn always gets the larger portion. The older son saw the inheritance slipping through his fingers. Things were not working out the way he thought they should. This older son had a working relationship with his father but did not have a heart to heart where they shared the same heart together like the younger son now had. So the older son,s father could not trust the son the way he wanted to because he was putting the whole inheritance first instead of his father. This father had to guard against his own older son.
In this life when we inherit somthing from our family line the benufactor is dead. So relationship doesnt play a part in it. Once their dead you can say and do what you want. The relationship part is there when the benefactor is alive and we can love them for real or pretend to love them so as to get an inheritance from them later. With God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, relationship comes first. God never dies. So when you get your inheritance God will be there alive and well watching you enjoy your inheritance.
God is the most misunderstood beings in existence. He has been lied about and misunderstood by religions that don’t know Him but are hypocrites that act like they do know Him and mislead the public. He doesn’t want to take from you but He wants to add to you and build your life into something great. He will take the sin out. This is necessary so that He can move in your life and build it. The older son in the parable was not putting his father first. He wanted the possessions his father had. The sin here that the older son had is COVETOUSNESS, SELFISH AMBITIONS, IDOLATRY, JEALOUSY. [ Galatians 5:19,20] NIV.
The sin that the younger prodigal son had was FORICATION, UNCLEANESS, LEWDNESS, IDOLITRY, [SORCERY, AKA MIND ALTERING DRUGS.] ALSO DRUNKENESS. [Galatians 5: 19,20,21] NIV.
So we see that the younger son had a lot of sins to repent of also. This also kept him from putting the relationship with his father first. So both sons were no better. they both had a different set of sins but it kept both of them from the relationship with their father. The difference was the younger son finally saw what he was doing and came to himself and repented of the sins he was practicing, and put them down, and made the relationship with his father the first priority. So the younger son by repenting entered into his father’s house and also inherited all things. His father was glad to share in all things that he had with the younger son because he loved his father first, and could now be trusted.
Now, remember that Jesus is teaching this parable to the people. The religious leaders, the Pharisees, and the scribes were complaining that this man Jesus sits with sinners and eats with them and receives them. [LUKE 15:1,2] They were a self-righteous lot that wouldn’t have anything to do with sinners. They worked their way up in studying the law of Moses. They became self-appointed leaders of Israel and a political force that rubbed elbows with the Roman empire.
They had earned their spot by hard work and manipulations. They had money, fame, good homes, self-satisfaction, and pride. They were teaching the people before Jesus came on the scene. They were brimming with self-righteousness, using the law of Moses as their platform. This is like the older son in the parable. He was earning his spot with the father. Working for it. He had an appearance of righteousness but in his heart, he wanted all his father’s possessions. The older son was a hypocrite also with alternative motives using his sonship and work for a platform to get what he wanted from his father without regard to a relationship with his father. putting the possessions first. Neither the Pharisees nor the scribes or the older son in the parable will enter into the Kingdom of heaven. They have already gotten their portion.
Jesus was sitting and receiving sinners. The sinners were not hypocrites. They were open about it. Jesus was ministering to the sinners in hopes that some, just like the young prodigal would repent and follow Him. Jesus loves all people. He is looking for the ones who will come to themselves and repent and turn back to God the Father through Him. By Jesus preaching to the sinners and moving in supernatural power and healing all kinds of sickness and disease and speaking the words of His Father God to the people, words that cut to the heart, it was exposing the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees that claimed to have all the truth that Israel needed. By the younger prodigal son returning to his father in repentance, it exposed the hypocrisy of the older son because he was not repenting. His heart was still hard towards his father and now the younger son who now loved his father was going into the house to celebrate. Because the older son did not repent even after seeing his younger brother repent, he will not get the inheritance but the younger son will.
SO WE HAVE BASICALLY TWO KINDS OF SINNERS. ONES THAT HIDE IT AND PRETEND THEIR RIGHTEOUS AND THE ONES THAT DONT.
If someone has to hide something in themselves from the public it is hypocritical. true freedom is when you are the same in both public and private. Jesus removing our sin makes us free with nothing to hide from anyone. When Jesus is the head of our lives we walk in Love, freedom, power, and boldness. No hidden agenda. By doing this we fulfill the law by loving the Lord thy God with all of our heart, soul, and mind and all your strength” This is the first commandment. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself; there is no commandment greater than these. {MARK 12: 30,31]. NIV.
This is called, coming to the light. Nothing to hide, and coming out of the darkness where we had all kinds of things to hide when we were sinners.
Here is more good news! God wants us to subdue the earth and take the territory that God has for us. I will give you the scriptures for this in a minute. As you can see by the parable of the prodigal son, God wants to give us the earth as much as we can handle in righteousness. When we are believers there are things God will give us because we are ready to handle them. there are some things that He has to withhold because it will ruin us because our character is not ready to handle it yet. Anyone who has raised kids knows this is true. there are things that your kids cannot handle until they reach a certain age or maturity.
Notice that the two sons were given a portion of their inheritance and not the whole thing. Both sons showed their father what they will do with there inheritance. They both abused it. What if the father would have gave them both everything that he had knowing how abusive they were with just a portion of the inheritance? It would have ruined both of them. This is our situation with God when we are born into the earth. We get a portion of goods and skills to work and then God sees what we will do with it. Or some of us have poverty and will we steel and kill to get our needs met or will we turn to the Father God for help and see what He wants us to do?
GODLY CHARACTER IS NUMBER ONE TO THE FATHER GOD. ONCE WE RECEIVE JESUS AND OUR CHARACTER IS NOW BEING DEVELOPED BY HIM WE CAN BE TRUSTED WITH MORE AND MORE AND MORE. NOT ONLY FOR OUR BENEFIT BUT FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS IN NEED.
How great it is to have possessions that we have peace in having because we do not idol them or covet them or put our love towards them but keep Jesus first in all things. God wants us to enjoy the Earth. He made it for us his creation, but it is absolutely imperative that we keep Jesus first in all things and keep sin away from us so we can be trusted with more and remain in righteousness and get our inheritance in Heaven. God wants you to have all things that He has written in a book about you in heaven. How much of it will you let Jesus develop your character for, so you can handle the blessings He has for you. There is a portion for everyone, He has left no one out.

[Jesus speaking] “All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”
So, God the Father has set up Jesus above all things. Both the Earth and Heavens and all mankind. So now Jesus is looking for the lost who will come to Him and become a part of Him and His Kingdom. Then we will be trained by Him and become stewards of what is all His. If we are found faithful and can handle it we will get more and have rewards in Heaven for eternity. Earth is then a place to walk with God. It is a place of development in Christ. It is a place of testing so as to see if more can be added to each of us as we pass the tests.
When we don’t have Christ we are vulnerable to the torturers of Satans kingdom. Demons. We suffer unfairly and unnecessarily because Jesus has already defeated him. sickness disease infirmity, hopelessness, evil thoughts that both discourage and afflict our soul and try to keep us from God. Part of our tests is overcoming this enemy in our lives with the power of God,s word which Satan cannot stand against. Then we walk in freedom. It is up to us then to take God’s word and use it against Satan and get our own victory through Jesus. At the proper time, Jesus will take the Earth back and rule and reign forever and those of us who followed Him and believed will rule with Him forever.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Delight yourself in the lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.

The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the lord, and all your thoughts will be established.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He mat exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him, for He cares for you.
CONCERNING BEING SAVED.
Nicodemus a Pharisee came in secret at night to talk to Jesus. “Rabbi we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do, unless God is with Him. Jesus answered and said, Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter into a second time into his mothers womb and be born? Jesus answered, “Most assuredly , I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [JOHN 3: 2,6] NIV.
[ROMANS 10:8,10] NIV
But what does it say? “The word is near you in your mouth and in your heart” that is the word of faith which we preach, that if you confess with you mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Ask Jesus into your life today. Don’t waste another day without Him. get on His plan for your life.
