One of the keys to knowing God is knowing what your current status is. If you don’t know your life is empty, why would you seek to fill it? If you don’t know that you are disconnected Spiritually from God, Why would you seek to reconnect with God? God sent Jesus to all of us because there is a huge problem. God has been lied about through man kinds generations on this Earth. He has been portrayed as a taskmaster, mean and demanding, or to some, He has been portrayed as weak, and only weak people need Him. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Jesus came to us in meekness and gentleness because thats the only way he could approach us and be able to feel our pain and lay hands on the sick, and hold the children, minister to the widows, and get in close to us. If He would of came in power and glory surrounded by his 30 foot angels when He came to the earth, people would have fainted in fear and would have died in the presence of a Holy God because of their sin. He is not weak, He is meek. He is the creator of all things.
God’s character is written in [Galatians 5:22,23] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control.
And in [1 Corinthians 13:4,8] “Further describes His character. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up. Does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. “
These are the life- giving characteristics of God that He wants to impart to you and me through His Son Jesus. These characteristics bring life to us and blessing from the Lord as we let Him work these virtues into us and replace the fallen characteristics we are born with. These virtues bring us into favor with both God and our fellow man on Earth. These virtues when practiced help us to love ourselves and have an inner peace that the world and all its treasures cannot ever give. The world and all its treasures are external. The virtues listed above are internal. When God’s virtues are working in you, it manifests on the external to all the people around you. [You have changed.] Then the world around you will begin to change for you because you are sowing good character toward others and you will begin to receive back what you give. God then blesses the fruit of your willingness to obey Him in this.
[Proverbs 19:22] proves this.
NIV- Bible What a person desires is unfailing love.
KJB- The desire of a man is his kindness
DBT- The charm of a man is his kindness.
WEB- That which make a man to be desired is his kindness.
YLT- The desirableness of a man is his kindness.
These virtues are the building blocks of a good life blessed by God. These virtues do not destroy life but build and cultivate it starting with you. and it gives you an incredible ability to forgive others when they have offended you and stop any damage to your own life from it. Nothing removes the pressure and anxiety and want of revenge faster than forgiveness. You then are beginning to sow good seed in your life that will reap more than you sow as seed always does. Your inner strength will come from God Himself through Jesus that will never let you be defeated.
God showed me a vision a while back. He showed me in an open vision a garden hose laying on the ground. As I looked at it God said ” do you see this hose laying on the ground? look inside its end and you will see dirt, spiders and crawling bugs entering it for shelter. But if you turn the water on, all the filth and corruption is washed away out of the hose. As long as the water remains on, nothing corrupt can ever enter it again. The hose then is doing its function of watering and giving life to the plants. He said; “That is the way a life connected to me is. It is an endless supply of life giving virtue that comes from the only life source there is ME! End of vision.
So you see. the external things of the world and all its material treasures can never satisfy a corrupt dirty, empty defeated soul. The world is external. God works on your spirit and soul internally starting with receiving Jesus. This gives God permission and access into your spirit to begin the work of His virtuous character built in you. THAT IS HOW YOU KNOW YOU ARE ALSO SAVED AND HEAVEN BOUND WITHOUT A DOUBT.
[Proverbs 18:16]” Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”
The fruit of a new character from God will change not only your attitude but the things you say and what comes out of your mouth. You will bless people and not curse them. Since the scripture says that death and life are in the power of the tongue you will also speak well of yourself and say what God says about you. He is for you and not against you. He speaks good things over you while you speak bad things over your self.
What were we born with? What is our character when we are born?
[Galatians 5:19,21] “Now the works of the flesh is evident, which are; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.”
These things are death to us. They bring destruction to your life and eventually death. Everything you see written in Galatians 5: here is a destroyer of life and robs a person of what God intended you to be. These are satanic in nature and condemned by God. Is it any wonder then when we do these thing for pleasure that they leave us more and more empty inside as we do them. Life is sucked out of us.
[Matthew 15:18,19,20] Jesus speaking;
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man. These are sins! They are the sins of the flesh. We cannot get rid of these ourselves. Only Jesus is able to deliver us.
As you can see we are born in a fallen condition that has to be corrected by God.
These characteristics are Evil. They are under the wrath of God because He has judged sin and His wrath is on sin. So He has sent Jesus to deliver us from this condition to get us out from under His wrath so we do not perish in eternal hell along with satan who is the author of sin and the enemy of God and the enemy of mankind. Satan is already judged. He is going to the lake of fire forever. God does not want us going there with him so He gave us Jesus to redeem us from it. since sin is under God’s wrath He separates us from our sin through Jesus and the sin is condemned but we are not because we gave our life to Christ. His blood, the a sacrifice God accepts on our behalf
Once you have received Jesus into your life He will begin to cleanse you of your life long filthiness and work into you His virtuous character of love to get you ready for Heaven. You are now a resident of Heaven and not of this world.

JESUS I ASK YOU TO COME INTO MY LIFE AND BE MY LORD AND GOD AND FORGIVE ME OF ALL MY SIN. TAKE MY LIFE ANF MAKE ME A CHILD OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HEAVEN.
Read the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke Or John, The Gospels. Ask God to show you who He is and make Himself real to you as you search for Him, and He will meet you and come to you.
This happened to a man that I ministered to for several nights. I told him to download the bible on His smartphone and search the scriptures and Jesus will come to him. He did this and was serious and he was showering one night after 2 weeks and He got saved in the shower. That’s when Jesus became real to him. He was excited.
